Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Velox Tools ("we," "us," or "the Site"), at https://www.aiveloxtools.com, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Site and its tools. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. What we collect — and what we don't

Numbers you type into calculators

Our calculators run in your browser. The values you enter into a calculator (loan amounts, rents, expenses, measurements, and so on) are processed on your device to produce a result and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers — unless you explicitly choose to save them through a feature that requires an account, as described below.

Rental Property Calculator accounts

The Rental Property Calculator offers an optional free account so you can save and reload your analyses. This is the main place the Site stores personal data on our server. If you create an account, we store:

• your email address and, for email-based sign-ups, a securely hashed password;
• if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google returns for authentication (such as your email address and name) — we do not receive your Google password;
• any profile details you add, and the rental analyses ("reports") you choose to save.

You can view, edit, and delete your saved reports, and delete your entire account, from within the tool while signed in — or by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your stored account data.

Tool ratings

Some tools let you submit a rating. When you do, we record the rating so we can display and improve tools. To prevent abuse, we may temporarily log limited technical information (such as your IP address) for rate-limiting; this is not used to build a profile of you.

Smart Budget

Smart Budget is an application that works with financial statement files you choose to provide, and it requires an account to function. Its detailed data handling is described within the Smart Budget application itself. Only provide files you are comfortable processing, and review that tool's in-app information before uploading.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate (city-level) location — primarily through our analytics provider (see Section 2). This is used for site analytics, performance, and security.

Information you send us

If you email us at any of our published addresses, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to respond.

2. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) for:

• Essential operation — for example, remembering your light/dark theme preference (stored locally in your browser), and keeping you signed in to a Rental Calculator account you've created.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects the technical usage information described in Section 1.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect features like staying signed in.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the Site, each under its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics — usage analytics.
• Google Sign-In — optional authentication for Rental Calculator accounts.
• Google Fonts — typography.
• Our web hosting provider — serving the Site and hosting account data.

4. How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its tools;
• To provide account features on the Rental Calculator, including saving and retrieving your reports;
• To respond to your messages and support requests;
• To measure site usage and diagnose technical problems;
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

Calculator inputs are not stored by us unless you save them to an account. Account data and saved reports are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable record-keeping. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's retention settings.

6. Your privacy rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom (GDPR)

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Our legal bases for processing are legitimate interest (operating and securing the Site), performance of a service you request (providing account features), and consent (where required, such as for non-essential cookies).

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the Site and account data, including serving the Site over HTTPS and storing passwords in hashed form. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
